O relatório do Fundo Petrolífero referente ao último trimestre de 2012 apresenta o seguinte "sumário executivo".
Como se sabe, o Fundo Petrolífero apenas admite transferências para a Conta do Estado. O quadro abaixo dá as informações essenciais sobre as transferências para financiamento do OGE durante o ano de 2012:
Dele se conclui que em 2012 foram transferidos cerca de 1500 milhões de USD para financiamento dos gastos do Estado. Sabe-se, no entanto, que nem todo este dinheiro veio a ser utilizado: um pouco mais de 400 milhões vão ser usados para financiar o OGE2013.

Actually, nearly $700 million that was transferred from the Petroleum Fund during 2012 will be applied to the 2013 state budget: $409.8 million in the two special funds, and $261 million from the $819 cash balance sitting in the treasury account because the Government withdrew so much in the last quarter of last year.
